“Jesus’ Triumphal Entry”

Matthew 21:1-19

Key Passage: Romans 10:9

Main Point: Jesus is alive.

Gospel Gems To Talk About: Jesus is God’s Son. God sent Jesus to earth because He loves us. People praised Jesus as their King. 


Sunday, March 25th

“Jesus’ Crucifixion and Resurrection”

Matthew 26 – 28

Key Passage: Romans 10:9

Main Point: Jesus is alive.

Gospel Gems To Talk About: Jesus is God’s Son. God sent Jesus to earth because He loves us. God made Jesus alive again. 


Sunday, April 1st (EASTER SUNDAY)

There is no Sunday School on Easter Sunday, but we will have childcare up to 4 years old. Just drop them off in their normal classroom. We will show an Easter movie and have Easter snacks.

In conjunction with the Levels of Biblical Learning, which provides age-appropriate experiences for kids of at every age and stage of development, each session is designed to help you teach kids to:

  • Apply the Bible to real life through Bible stories that guide them in decisions and teach them how to honor God throughout their day-to-day lives
  • Reach biblical milestones through the Levels of Biblical Learning, a proven framework for growth in God’s Word from birth through sixth grade
  • Engage in discipleship through the weekly practice of Bible skills, study, Scripture memorization, and missional awareness

PARENTS: This is what we will be learning about this month, and some ideas on how you can help your child review what they’ve learned. 


Sunday, March 18th

The Last Supper

Matthew 26:17-30; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

 Unit Verse: John 4:42     

Weekly Bible Verse: 1 Corinthians 11:26

 Life Point: Jesus is God’s plan for salvation.

 The Bible Meets Life: Parents, today your child heard about the last supper Jesus had with His disciples. During this supper, Jesus communicates the plan of His Father for the salvation of people.

Live It Out: Is your child a Christian? If they are not, share with them the plan of salvation. If they are, explain how the Lord’s Supper helps us remember that Jesus died for our sins. Guide your child to talk about things they remember about Jesus.


Sunday, March 25th

The Triumphal Entry

Luke 19:28-40; John 12:12-19

 Unit Verse: John 4:42            

Weekly Bible Verse: John 4:42

 Life Point: People need and can trust in God’s salvation.

 The Bible Meets Life: Parents, today your child heard about Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. People recognized Jesus as a king, but they later called for His crucifixion. Jesus fulfilled God’s plan for the salvation of people. 

 Live It Out: Review today’s Bible story with your child. If you or your child have ever seen a celebrity in a parade, talk about how that felt. Compare that experience with how your child thinks the people felt when they saw Jesus ride into Jerusalem.
